Ann-Marie A. Knight, MHA, FACHE
OPERATIONS ADMINISTRATOR, MAYO CLINIC
Ann-Marie Knight is the Operations Administrator, supporting to Community Engagement the Critical Care Medicine, and Pharmacy Operations throughout the Jacksonville campus. In this capacity she has successfully led the development of multiple best practices, all leading to higher levels of patient care while managing expenses.
With a focus in healthcare, Ann-Marie has established an enviable record of building smart, inclusive, and results-oriented teams in high-volume care health facilities. She is dedicated to improving the patient experience with the right program of care while employing streamlined systems and processes. The ability to lead large, cross-disciplined teams is a result of her business acumen and 24 years of service to her country in the U. S. Navy. A teacher and mentor at heart, Ann-Marie has served as a faculty member at University of North Florida and guest presenter at for the Masters Healthcare Administration program at the University of Florida.
Ann-Marie earned her Bachelors of Business (Finance) from University of North Florida and her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University. Since 2006 she has served as a Preceptor for UF and UNF BHA and MHA students. Her list of professional certifications include, but are not limited to; Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives and Certified, Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt for the Department of the Navy.
Ann-Marie has membership in multiple local professional organizations and has served the North Florida Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2005, to include the role of president in 2014. Her nonprofit leadership has included Class President, Leadership Clay Class, 2014; Board member, The Way Free Clinic, and as a mentor and volunteer with other Northeast Florida organizations. She received the Regent’s Award from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Ane-Marie's military awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, multiple Navy Commendation and Achievement Medals, and numerous other medals, certificates, and recognitions.
