Angela brings a winning trifecta of nonprofit direct service, community outreach and program training to her position as Program Director. After college she headed for the mountains of Colorado to work with four AmeriCorps NCCC projects in Denver which included disaster relief and literacy tutoring.

The beach beaconed and Angela returned to Jacksonville as the Community Initiatives Coordinator for Nemours BrightStart, leading community and family workshops and continued providing one of her favorite programs, literacy tutoring.

Most recently Angela served as a Training and Development Specialist at Wounded Warrior Project where she helped on-board new employees and trained teammates in preparation to serve wounded and injured service members and their families.

A Florida native, Angela received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida. She earned a Master’s Degree in Human Services from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, with a focus on nonprofit management and development.
