As a nonprofit, you help clients face tough circumstances. But in some cases, you face difficulties of your own. Perhaps you have little or no cash reserve, or your budget has no room for error. It’s a business model we’d never invest our retirement nest egg in, but we live that reality each and every day. Given that business model, we need all the help we can get. “Risk management” – the process of identifying risks before threats overtake us or opportunities pass us by - is not just a nice concept. For nonprofits, it’s life or death.

Join Ted Bilich, a nationally recognized leader in nonprofit risk management and CEO of Risk Alternatives, for a high-energy, hands-on, two-hour session that provides seasoned nonprofit leaders, board members, and staff with a solid understanding of what they can do – immediately – to be more resilient and sustainable in the face of uncertainty.

You can learn more about risk management by looking at the “lean risk management” series on the Risk Alternatives blog. You can also download a fact sheet to find out what experts in Florida and elsewhere are saying about the need for nonprofit risk management.

After you register, you will receive an email to take a Risk Management Survey - please note that your answers will be kept confidential and results will be used only in aggregate, to provide context throughout the workshop.

This event presented with the generous support of The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida.
