Description
Does your organization have a plan in place for executive transitions? Healthier and well-led organizations are more likely to continue stronger mission delivery during an eventual executive transition. Effective succession planning builds organizational resiliency and requires strategic thought and action by both the ED and the board.

This 2-day workshop is a working session for an ED and several board members to attend together to begin development of their succession policy and plans. Day 1 (April 29) helps organizations take a reflective look and begins to cover decisions that can be made to form policy about an executive transition before it happens. Day 2 (May 17) moves into on-going organizational and leadership work that will make an eventual executive transition easier.
