Description
Do you and/or your staff struggled to tell your organization’s story effectively? Is your team speaking with one voice? Shaping your "pitch" and communicating with stakeholders across multiple platforms and environments is a constant challenge for nonprofits. But what if you could gain tools to more powerfully and authentically share that value? What could that mean for your staff's confidence as well as your bottom line?

ValueMapping™ is like a GPS for your most powerful story, regardless of your expertise and experience as a communicator. A patent-pending, disciplined process, ValueMapping enables you to more deeply understand your organizations value expressed through impact. It then lowers barriers to communicating that value, so you can authentically connect with your stakeholders. Engaging, interactive, and energizing, ValueMapping will leave you with keen insights, powerful language, increased confidence, and a path to telling a story which every member of your organization can use. Each attendee will walk away having learned the process, crafted a pitch, developed a statement and created a foundation for developing future stories.

Whether you are seeking to improve your marketing and fundraising efforts, or engage and empower employees and board members, this session will give you tangible and immediately applicable tools and knowledge. Join us for an engaging session, now in its fifth year, which was expanded this year to a full-day due to requests from past attendees.

Throughout a career which has spanned broadcasting and television, healthcare, nonprofit, and brand identity, Al has remained rooted in communication, leadership and messaging. Within healthcare, he led the national re-branding of one of the nation’s largest clinical outsourcing companies. During a 25+ year broadcasting and television career, Al has been a spokesman, voice and creative director for more than 500 brands and 12,000 commercials. He has developed platforms as a motivational speaker and emcee for more than a quarter of a million people. Al’s passion for helping start-ups and entrepreneurs led him to curate and direct a training curriculum for One Spark, formerly the world’s largest crowdfunding festival. After recognizing the struggle people and business have conveying the value of their ideas, Al founded ValueMapping™ to help society more deeply understand and be able to authentically communicate value through impact. Today, ValueMapping is Al’s purpose, lifting private industry, non-profit, small business, and individuals through consulting, workshops and online training.
