Community Coaches Training
Community Coaches are given an exceptional opportunity to grow as individuals, learn from one another, and establish professional networks that help fulfill their roles as community leaders. Training consists of an opening retreat, and six, all-day training sessions which include skill building, peer-to-peer training, case studies, and facilitation techniques.
In return for this training, Community Coaches are asked to give 80 hours of pro bono work back to the nonprofit sector and specifically to Nonprofit Center members. For more information about the Community Coaches program, click here.
The Nonprofit Center periodically trains new classes of volunteer Community Coaches. If you’re interested in becoming part of this elite cadre that has donated more than 5000 hours of their talent, expertise, and energy to the nonprofit sector, please email Leah Donelan. The next training class is expected to take place in 2017.
