Member roles and responsibilities
The Board is responsible for overall policy and direction of the organization and delegate’s responsibility of day-to-day operations to the Corporation’s management. The Board receives no compensation other than reasonable expenses. Board members are expected to make some financial contribution. Members of the Board of Directors shall be deemed qualified by their interest, understanding, experience and ability for membership on the Board. Board membership should be reasonably representative of the community and therefore clients served by the corporation. All board members shall serve three (3) year terms, but are eligible for re-election at the end of each three year period after review of continued interest and participation. The President of the Board and the CEO will conduct an interview which requires that each Board member shall receive written (email) notice at least ten (10) days and not more than sixty (60) days in advance of each meeting.

We have four main areas of need on the Board: Media/Marketing Law Technology Finance/Banking
Have education and skills that would contribute to the Board, regularly attend Board Meetings, willing to commit the time necessary to be an effective Board Member, attend training sessions for new Board Members and have an interest or passion in the Mission of Starting Point Behavioral Healthcare.
