Hubbard House is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of Hubbard House. The Director of Finance is responsible for the accurate implementation and management of all agency accounting functions/general ledger functions in accordance with agency policies to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, payroll, trial balance, financial statements, as well as all governmental reports.

Essential duties and responsibilities
The position administers various bank accounts, purchasing, the annual budget preparation, the annual audits in compliance with all applicable government regulations, and internal records management/control. The Director of Finance is also responsible for financial grant management for a multitude of funders, which includes utilizing sophisticated fund accounting strategies. As part of a dynamic leadership team, the Director of Finance is integral to advancing the overall strategic priorities of Hubbard House. The Director of Finance supervises a finance department, and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Director of Finance position has experience-based advancement opportunity. Solid knowledge of accounting principles laws/best practices, financial analysis and forecasting. CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus. The ideal candidate is analytical and has outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills who can drive the agency’s financial planning.
Education and Experience
B.A. in accounting, business, finance or equivalent experience required. Two years accounting experience required but four years’ experience in accounting/full-charge bookkeeping, including financial statements preferred. Proven experience as a Finance Director, comptroller/controller, or equivalent supervisory experience preferred. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
