COVID-19: The Nonprofit Sector Responds

COVID-19 Information

The Nonprofit Center takes the health and wellness of our community very seriously. The spread of COVID-19 is a rapidly-evolving situation. While we will make every effort to provide current information, please defer to guidance from government and public health authorities related to any closures of public facilities.

Please visit our Repositioning for Strength page to find links to local and federal guidance for organizations developing or adapting their operations in light of COVID-19.

Our Offices and Programs

  • Effective April 1, 2022, masks will be optional for all staff, members and visitors of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida (NPC) in accordance with recommendations given by the CDC and The Jessie's updated mask policies.
Please note there are some instances where masks will still be required:
    • Everyone will be required to wear masks in the Nonprofit Center Office when the COVID-19 Community Level is high.
    • If staff or visitors have been exposed to a positive COVID-19 case (10 days after exposure per CDC recommendations).
The Nonprofit Center office recognizes that some staff and visitors may prefer to continue wearing a mask indoors, and we support this decision, and we will continue to have masks available for staff and visitors who may need them or who may prefer to wear them. If you don't feel well, please join us by Zoom or reschedule your meeting with our team.
The Nonprofit Center reserves the right to update this policy as needed.
  • Nonprofit Center Events & Programming are being offered in a virtual format as well as hybrid format. Call-in and web-based options are available. Updated details will be sent to the registrants of each event. Please note that we reserve the right to change the format of the program based on COVID-19 case rates and/or the preference of the majority of attendees.
  • Our office is open by appointment only. We are still available during our regular office hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Please reach out to us if we can be of assistance. Our main phone number is 904-425-1182.
  • We will continue to post key announcements on this webpage, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

We realize that many of our member nonprofits and stakeholders provide critical services to some of the most vulnerable members of our community and will continue their daily work. We are deeply grateful for your continued service to our community.  Please be safe and stay healthy; without you, we cannot fulfill our mission.
