Essential duties and responsibilities

This position is responsible for oversite all accounting and billing functions for ACE. This position reports directly to the CFO/President. 1. Supervision of Staff Accountant and Medicaid/Medicare Claims Specialist. Fill in to support as needed. 2. Organization’s tax filing and reporting. 3. Accounts receivable aging reports and collections. 4. Checking deposits and bank reconciliations. 5. ACE financial reports. This will include monthly reports for the President, Management Team, and the Board of Directors. Responsible for generating the ACE operating budget annually. 6. Participate in and support all audit functions with all needed reports.. 7. Agency and Provider Credentialling 8. Monitor Authorization Requests Report and update as needed. Prepare Authorization Requests as needed under special circumstances 9. Maintain required records, reports and files in an organized manner. 10. Purchasing- Submit requests accurately and timely, for supplies, postage, attendance, mileage claims, or other documents as needed. Responsible for paying all expenses timely and efficiently. 11. Liaison between Ace and Medicaid, Medicare and insurance companies with regard to billing policy changes, and keeping the manager alerted to those changes. 12. Responsible for grant budget development and monitoring in conjunction with Management Team. 13. Make recommendations to CFO/President for financial changes. Responsible for helping to ensure the ongoing financial viability of ACE. 14. Other duties as assigned.

Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor degree in finance or accounting. Medicaid/Medicare Claims Experience Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and processes Management/Supervisory Experience Community Behavioral Health Experience a plus
