The Warehouse Supervisor works effectively with the Project Manager to support and assist in supervising the daily operation and management of the agency’s Warehouse Production projects to include Secure Document Destruction and Lawnability. The Warehouse Supervisor will establish efficient production standards, provide quality customer service, manage dispatch and transportation operations, supervise training, participate in all regulatory compliance audits, ensure safety standards are followed, and assist with employee performance reviews.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Promotes the mission of the agency "The Power of People and Possibilities for individuals living with disabilities." Follow all Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc.'s policies and procedures as set forth in the Board of Directors approved Personnel handbook. Follow the Challenge Enterprises Code of Conduct. Always be a professional representative of the agency and advocate for the consumer. Participate in Challenge Enterprises orientation, pre-service training, and annual in-service training. Under the direction of the Project Manager, operate the Sewing, Production and Commodities projects in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner. Support the SDD and Lawnability lines of business when needed. Schedule workforce in accordance with production needs. Act as secondary scheduler and dispatcher for service trucks, and support assigned Customer Service Reps. Assist in Developing and maintaining monitoring systems to ensure concurrence industry guidelines. Assist, as directed, in development of marketing plans to enhance the image of the agency's Production services. Directly supervises all subordinate Production employees. Measure productivity of sewing production by exercising continuous process improvement strategies, as directed by the project manager. Develop a positive working partnership with customers and assist in coordinating service schedules. Assist in coordinating with Maintenance Manager to develop procedures and processes for equipment maintenance, upkeep, and accountability. Assist in preparation of annual budgeting process. Monitor direct labor and financial statements for Production and Commodities, as directed by the project manager. Ensures OSHA compliance and maintains a safe working environment for all Production employees. Follow the agency's procedures for processing maintenance requests. Follow the agency's bidding procedures for capital and non-capital purchases. Perform time studies. Maintain payroll for Production employees. Maintain Production records for the purpose of invoicing, customer service, and sales. Coordinate shipping and receiving of products. Act as alternate Customer Service Representative, and drive trucks when necessary. Support sales efforts. Other duties as assigned. Commercial sewing experience preferred.

Qualifications

Prefer 2 years' experience with individuals with disabilities and in leadership roles. Prefer sewing experience. Must pass a background check, government screening and drug test. Experience working with computers is a plus including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Prefer a minimum of four (4) years' experience with JWOD and AbilityOne Must be able to drive a vehicle, walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, push, pull and lift to 40 pounds. Must be familiar with and able to perform time studies and or MODAPTS to satisfy DOL standards. Must have knowledge of ABUSE laws and employment standards. Must have a clean three (3) year driving record.

Education and Experience

Prefer 2 years' experience with individuals with disabilities and in leadership roles.

Salary/Salary Range

$17-$25/Hour
