The Patient Care Associate will support the Community Health Outreach Healing Hands medical and dental clinics. They will be cross-trained to perform all front-of-house operations at the clinic. This position has the opportunity for growth and promotion.
Essential duties and responsibilities
The Patient Care Associate will work M-F from 9-2. He/she will be trained to support the staff of the medical and dental clinics in the following ways: Verifying eligibility completing financial eligibility forms scheduling and confirming appointments checking patients in and out maintaining patient charts returning patient calls Patient Intake including blood pressure checks, weight, oxygen, glucose, etc. Patient referrals Completing reports for funders Assisting with guest tours of clinic Tracking volunteer hours and acknowledgements Supporting our volunteer providers other duties as needed
The Patient Care Associate will be someone who learns quickly as they will need to be cross-trained for all clinic roles. He/she will have excellent customer relations skills and be compassionate and caring to our patients.
Education and Experience
High School diploma required
$16 to 18 per hour depending on experience
