PARENT AIDE: The Exchange Club Family Center is seeking a full-time professional parent educator to provide in-home parenting classes to families referred by DCF, the school system, local social services providers and self-referrals. Candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field and a strong interest in helping parents become the best parents possible! Essential duties and responsibilities

The position consists of providing parenting classes and case management to parents of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds in Duval, Clay, Baker and Nassau counties. Applicants must be able to work effectively with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, providing evidence-based curriculum and guidance on a variety of issues.


Bachelor's degree plus one year experience in social work or a related field. All services are provided in the family home; Parent Aides must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance, mileage is reimbursed. Candidates should have a strong desire to help others and empathy for individuals regardless of circumstances. Candidates must complete background screening and provide proof of COVID vaccinations. Training in the Parent Aide model, curriculum and field training are provided.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a degree in Social Work or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of social services experience. Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary/Salary Range

$40,000 - $47,000
