The Part-time Elementary Site Leader is responsible for the management and oversight of the organization’s elementary school programs and PT employees, at a specific school site during each school year and summer camp, with the support and oversight of the Elementary Program Manager.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Essential Functions: Planning - Plans and coordinates parent/caregiver orientation that builds program and organization brand awareness. - Assists in developing opportunities for families and the community to connect to Girls Inc programming through parent educational programs and trainings, community events throughout the school year - Assists in planning and developing opportunities for girls to engage in physical activities, social-emotional learning, family engagement opportunities, service learning projects, and cultural arts & enrichment activities, career exploration, life skills, and field trips. - Works with PT certified teacher to oversee homework assistance and supplemental activities that take place each week Leadership - Maintains a high level of understanding and knowledge about the Girls Inc. program philosophy and the essential elements of the Girls Inc. experience. - Has working knowledge of positive youth development trends and gender specific programs. - Supervising PT staff a site (up to 3 facilitators, 1 school security officer, and 1 certified teacher) - Supports the professional development of all elementary school PT facilitators, school security officers and certified teachers. - Builds and maintain positive relationships with existing and new school administrators as well as parents/caregivers, and make sure they understand all elements of the mission of Girls Inc. and the Girls Inc. Experience. - Advocates for girls, girl-related issues, and positive youth development activities in the Jacksonville area. Management & Implementation - Oversees the daily operation of elementary school programming at school site. - Acts as the direct contact for all PT facilitator employees at the school site. - Manage meal and snack program for site - Conducts observations of staff, provides coaching and feedback - Helps ensure that all elementary school staff maintain safe and well-organized program spaces with appropriate Girls Inc. signage – e.g. Bill of Rights, etc. - Makes recommendations to update program policies and procedures to ensure consistent program quality. Conducts Program Quality Assessment and site evaluations Data Management & Reporting - Oversee data collection and entry for program site to include staff, student, meal service, - Works collaboratively with the Director of Operations to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all elementary school data.
