The Glynn Environmental Coalition (GEC) is recruiting a motivated, self-starting individual to join our company as a Canvasser. As part of our Safe Seafood Outreach Initiative, the Canvasser will conduct one-on-one outreach with Brunswick/Glynn County fishermen and their families about local seafood consumption advisories. This outreach is essential for fishermen and their families to understand the existence of contaminated seafood and how to mitigate potential health impacts from overconsuming locally caught contaminated seafood. The Canvasser will also facilitate doorto-door canvassing to assist with sharing information about upcoming community meetings.
