Description

The Grant Compliance Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of grant compliance.  This position provides oversight to the Compliance Team for processing payment requests, process development and improvement.  This position also includes assistance with training and staffing for the Compliance team.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Oversee timely and accurate processing of all TFA requests  Perform second reviews of TFAs  Handle escalation issues for Compliance Specialists  Grant tracking to ensure spending compliance  Metrics tracking and oversight  Maintain grant files to ensure most up to date information on grant requirements  Work in collaboration with other team leads to ensure timely processing of TFA requests and billing  Monitor processes and make recommendations for process improvement  Act as a backup to Grant Compliance Specialists Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills  Accounting and/or auditing background helpful  Excellent oral and written communication skills    Detail oriented and responsive to deadlines    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment   Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office   Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines   Strong interpersonal and organizational skills   Capability to learn and master HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) software   Periods of walking, standing, or sitting in an office or field environment for service provision Limited physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Ability to operate a motor vehicle

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in related fields preferred  2+ years of supervisory experience preferred Previous grant experience with SSVF, ESG or other Rapid Rehousing/Homeless Prevention Program is helpful  Must be eligible to work within the U.S. and provide supporting documentation Must pass a Level II background check Must pass a federal-level drug screen; possession of a medical marijuana card is currently not acceptable under federal law Must have a clean 3-year driving history Must have a valid driver’s license, a registered vehicle without known issues or faults to complete essential job functions, and the required vehicle insurance within 90 days of onboarding

Salary/Salary Range

$50,000 - $60,000
