Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) – Fund Development Director

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. (HabiJax) is currently seeking a Fund Development Director who has a heart for helping families and individuals in need of a hand up to build or improve a place they can call home. HabiJax is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global nonprofit housing organization seeking to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope. The Fund Development Director is primarily responsible for donor cultivation to support HabiJax’s programs by effectively building relationships and communicating engagement opportunities through written proposals, verbal presentations, and direct solicitation. The main objective of this position is to raise critically needed funds to support HabiJax’s mission through community partnerships, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations. A successful Fund Development Director must think and act strategically and possess integrity, outstanding written/verbal communication skills, and professional credibility as a successful fundraiser. This position requires a person who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to combine professional achievement with a passion for enriching the lives of others.
