Be a part of our growing organization to oversee the support maintenance of core IT infrastructure systems as the Systems Administrator. This role collaborates on project management, manages the help desk, and ensures security protocols are operational. Your background over the last three (3) years in a Windows server environment and hypervisor experience has prepared you for this role.
Enjoy a workday outdoors or indoors to oversee the ongoing maintenance and security stance of our server systems. You will be resilient in weather and environmental conditions to access all areas. The areas may be one of our restaurants, gift shops, animal exhibits, behind-the-scenes, public point-of-sales, and workstations. Imagine working on retrofitting an interactive technology solution at our Kapok Tree exhibit, while the various primates explore and enjoy visitors. Proactive thinking, patience, and effective communication ensure critical systems and team members are safe and understand technical terminology to operate. Qualifications
Do you have… ▪ A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and/or an equivalent professional experience? ▪ Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, Office 365 Administration, and Virtualization? ▪ Experience managing server installation/configuration, server maintenance, software configuration, and layered Help Desk environment? ▪ Experience with IP based phone system configuration and management? ▪ Strong working knowledge of network/ firewall configurations and security best practices? ▪ Experience with wireless network setup and configuration? ▪ Experience with communication systems such as Cisco CUCM phone system, two-way radios, point-of-sale systems, and audio/visual equipment? ▪ Availability to work outside of regular work schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as necessary, to ensure critical systems are operational or to perform necessary system updates? PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ▪ Ability to work outdoors and indoors under all environmental conditions and temperatures. ▪ Ability to transport and move items, exerting at least 100 pounds of force occasionally, and or up to 50 pounds of force frequently. ▪ Ability to ascend/ descend ladders, steps, and uneven terrain, while maintaining body equilibrium while performing various jobs. ▪ Ability to consistently remain on feet for prolonged periods of time. ▪ Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization on foot and/or operate a motorized cart. ▪ Ability to operate hand or power tools. ▪ Exceptional visual acuity required, along with the ability to communicate, comprehend and decipher information accurately, using a two-way radio. ▪ Manual dexterity for standing, reaching, flexibility, and body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, stoop, bend, lift, kneel, crawl, climb, jump, dig and prolonged standing. ▪ Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. ▪ Visual and auditory acuity appropriate plant care for safety and to discern differences in documents/labels. Salary/Salary Range
Compensation is based on experience, up to $65k.
