This position is responsible for managing and supporting marketing activities for business recruitment and talent attraction through branding, content creation, social media, digital assets and collateral development. This position reports to the JAXUSA Vice President of Marketing.
Essential duties and responsibilities
• Work with VP, Marketing to develop and execute integrated marketing plans, strategies and campaigns that grow the visibility of the region’s brand and value proposition. • Assist and create communication initiatives, including, but not limited to, website and blog content/thought leadership; success stories; articles, talking points and reports; collateral material, lead generation and email newsletters. • Proactively update the JAXUSA website, www.JAXUSA.org and Find Your JAX website, www.findyourjax.com with fresh content including blog posts, infographics, news stories, market research and data points, imagery, etc., for strong reach and SEO. • Manage external social media presence and campaigns for business and talent attraction, including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Develop and review metrics reports to communicate comparable performance of owned platforms. • Interprets trends, news and market research to develop media pitching opportunities, blog/infographic content, campaigns and talking points for promotion opportunities and corporate communications. • Creates presentations for business development, corporate communication efforts and talent attraction, as needed. Oversees and develops brand standard and project management duties related to JAXUSA’s presentation templates. • Updates and communicates outward-facing marketing materials with business intelligence team. • Assists in managing multiple agency directives and project work. • Assist with other duties as needed. Education and Experience
• BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent work experience • 3+ years practical experience in Marketing/Communications/PR field.
