NFSSE is looking for an individual who has demonstrated initiative and innovation in marketing and communications. This position is responsible for direction and oversight of all school and microenterprise print publications, media and digital presentations that are distributed to the community, organizations and businesses to create and sustain awareness of NFSSE’s mission and vision. Utilizing available multi-media platforms, this individual will coordinate with administrative staff in the marketing of materials, editing and points of distribution.

This position reports to the Head of School and works closely with administrators and department heads in the promotion of school activities.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Create and maintain an outreach event calendar for special events and the details around them Direct staff as needed in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating promotional events and e-marketing campaigns. Initiate, cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations that actively support NFSSE and it' s mission. Oversee the development of communication materials for school and microenterprises including planning, research, writing, editing, printing, and distribution, in coordination with staff. These may include content for brochures, press releases and public service announcements. Assume overall responsibility for brand management. Prepare online and print marketing campaigns. Initiate and monitor distribution of same. Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing and communication plans. Direct all aspects of creation and management of the school's web presence, blog writing and posting.

Qualifications

Communication skills - verbal and written required Must be a self starter Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the development of marketing materials Knowledge of digital marketing trends and strategies Possess the ability to research, analyze and interpret information Ability to organize and prioritize information and tasks

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field. Minimum 3 years relevant experience Familiarity with subject related software and programs

Salary/Salary Range

$50,000 - $60,000 annual
