Summary
Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records for the Agency and the various grants awarded to ElderSource.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist with the compiling financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
Compile monthly receipts and expenditure reports.
Submit request for reimbursement to the Department on a monthly basis. Specifically included are Medicaid Waiver, EHEAP, all Medicaid funded programs and Home Care for the Elderly (HCE).
Process the company payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
Assists employees with question in relation to HR and Benefits.
Monitor Providers and prepare all related reports
Assist with the preparation of Contract Amendments, which include EHEAP, HCE, and NSIP etc.
Process payments to the Health Saving Accounts, 403 B Accounts for employees.
Prepare Medical Waiver and budget reports
Desk Audit and Review of EHEAP files.
Reallocate budget amounts to assure that all monies are expended.

III. Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and seven years professional or non-professional experience specifically in aging.
Associate\’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A Bachelor Degree in Accounting (Not Preferred) and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
IV. Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, this position should have knowledge of Accounting software; Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
V. Other Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Knowledge of grants and programs.
Pre-employment background check and drug screen will be conducted on top candidate. It is mandatory that a candidate be able to pass a Level II criminal background check through the Department of Elder Affairs prior to starting work.
Salary: $41,362 to $45,362.90/ year
