Scenic Jacksonville is seeking a part time Marketing and Program Assistant to support the Executive Director in carrying out the mission of the organization. This will be a remote, part-time, flexible role with a variety of tasks and will suit someone who is a great communicator, well organized, self-directed and willing to jump in and problem solve with creativity.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Donor and sponsor tracking, communication, and acknowledgement 2. Email marketing, social media and website support 3. Program/event coordination for the Great Cities Symposium 4. Special projects to enhance Scenic Jacksonville in the community


We are looking for someone with: • Enthusiasm for our mission • Strong organizational skills • Proficient in office technology platforms and communications technology • Experience with social media and knowledge of marketing fundamentals • Willing to learn, grow and problem solve • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • A love of Jacksonville, and who lives in the greater Jacksonville community

Education and Experience

BA or equivalent 3-5+ years experience in related field

Salary/Salary Range

Base Pay: $25/hr. for approx. 10-15 hours/week (contract based-no benefits)
