The Family Enrichment Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of family-centered programs and services that enhance the overall experience for children and caregivers utilizing Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville’s services. This role ensures programming is responsive to family needs, supports social connection and aligns with the organization’s mission. A key component of this role includes leading the operations, engagement and programming for Adventure Alley, the organization’s dedicated children’s and teen spaces. The Family Enrichment Manager ensures these spaces are dynamic, inclusive and fully integrated into the broader program strategy, while also supporting and enhancing programming across the House. This role works cross-departmentally to support engagement of families, volunteers, community partners and donors in the mission through programs, activities and special events.

Essential duties and responsibilities

•Plan, coordinate and implement a variety of programs and services that support children and families • Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar of activities that reflects family needs and interests • Ensure programs are complementary to overall House operations and do not conflict with other activities • Lead family communications related to programs, activities, and schedules • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure programs support broader organizational goals, including engagement of families, volunteers, donors and community partners • Demonstrate a welcoming, professional and service-oriented approach in all interactions with House guests Adventure Alley (Children & Teen Spaces): • Oversee daily operations of Adventure Alley, including both children’s and teen spaces • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate programming within the spaces • Adjust programming and hours of operation based on family needs and usage trends • Ensure spaces are welcoming, safe, organized and consistently utilized Partnerships & Engagement: • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance program offerings • Identify and integrate external partners into programming within Adventure Alley and overall House activities • Collaborate with universities and academic programs (e.g., child life, early childhood education, public health) to support student engagement and pipeline opportunities Volunteer & Staff Coordination: • Coordinate, support and train volunteers/staff involved in program delivery • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure consistency and quality of program experiences Program Development & Evaluation: • Design programs that promote social connection and emotional support for children and caregivers • Monitor participation and engagement, adjusting programs based on feedback and observed needs • Collect, track and maintain accurate program data and outcomes Events & Organizational Support: • Support and participate in organizational events, which may include evenings, weekends and off-site activities • Represent the organization as an ambassador by engaging with families, volunteers, and the community, including through programmatic support at events, to advance the mission • Attend all meetings and training, as required •Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations, programs and mission of Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville

Qualifications

• Strong program planning, coordination and organizational skills • Ability to design and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate activities • Skilled in building relationships with families, volunteers, community partners and donors • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to assess needs and adapt programming in real time • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment • Proficiency in data tracking, reporting and basic program evaluation • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments • Ability to actively engage with children and teens (standing, walking, bending, and light lifting up to 25 lbs.) • Ability to supervise and move throughout program spaces for extended periods • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, based on program and event needs • Comfort leading and facilitating group activities • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment • Ability to maintain professionalism, empathy and composure when working with families in high-stress situations The cited duties and responsibilities

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Child Life, Public Health, Social Work or related field preferred • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in program coordination, youth development, public health or family services • Experience working with children, teens and families in a supportive or community-based environment • Experience coordinating volunteers and working with community partners • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. • Strong organizational abilities with great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Proven experience in a self-directed work environment and successful project execution • Must have working knowledge of a computer and be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Must maintain a safe driving record with inclusion on the organization’s vehicle insurance policy • Must have a clean background and drug test • Candidate must believe in the core values of Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville and be driven by the mission.

Salary/Salary Range

$45,000 - $47,000
