The mission of the Nonprofit Center is to connect, strengthen and advocate for a strong nonprofit community. The Nonprofit Center is a respected and powerful resource and advocate for the local nonprofit sector, acting as a voice for nonprofit organizations, a convener of nonprofit coalitions and initiatives, the host of workshops on nonprofit management and organizational and leadership development, a source for expert information on topics including governance, strategy, and measuring impact, and an aggregator of resources for the nonprofit community. The Nonprofit Center values excellence and leadership and strives to always be unafraid and reflective in its work. Each Nonprofit Center team member is expected to actively contribute to the success of the entire organization.
The Program Operations Manager reports to the Vice President of Programs, Advocacy, and Communications and plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of the Nonprofit Center’s programs, processes, and internal operations. This position serves as a central coordination point across the organization, supporting logistics, tracking key activities, and maintaining systems that enable a high-quality experience for members and partners.
This full-time position is a highly collaborative, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys connecting the dots across multiple priorities.
Why The Nonprofit Center?
Compensation – The salary range for this full-time position is $55,000 – $60,000, depending on experience.

The Nonprofit Center operates under a hybrid work schedule that allows up to two remote days per week.

Essential duties and responsibilities
• Ensure high quality customer service experience for Nonprofit Center members, program participants, and the general community. • Coordinate logistics and manage communication for workshops, convenings, and events (scheduling, materials, speakers, run-of-show). • Support program timelines, execution, and post-event follow-up. • Maintain program calendar and ensure alignment across team activities. • Maintain and monitor Nonprofit Center events data management through CRM and website. • Develop expertise on core Nonprofit Center curriculum to facilitate programs as needed. • Assist with Board of Directors logistics, including scheduling and materials. • Serve as an initial point of contact for general inquiries and route requests appropriately. • Provide operational support for Nonprofit Center consulting engagements, including scheduling and coordination with clients. • Support membership processes including renewals, onboarding, and general communications. • Assist in data collection and prepare reports related to membership engagement and trends. • Maintain internal tracking systems, dashboards, and shared documents.

Education and Experience
• BA, BS, or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, program coordination, or project management. • Experience coordinating events, meetings, or multi-stakeholder initiatives. • Experience working in the nonprofit sector or mission-driven environment preferred. • Experience with CRM systems and data tracking tools preferred. • Experience with virtual and in-person events tools, best practices, and resources.
Salary/Salary Range
$55,000 - $60,000
