Description
We are a live event production organization that focuses our live events and music festivals in a way that it benefits Gold Star Families and Veteran causes. We are looking for someone who understands the legal side of the 501c3 and would be able to help us navigate properly through those waters. We are a very active group and looking to ramp up our efforts in the upcoming year with more community events and more music, but need someone with a firm grasp of the legal side of things to make sure we don’t misstep.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Legal translation and question answering. We have a solid group of ideas for events that we would like to implement into action in the upcoming year however, we are unsure of how those events would need to be developed with the aspects of the legalities of a 501c3 involved. we are currently acting under free advise and self research. We would like to get someone with a more knowledgeable background to be able to help us move forward with our mission.
Qualifications
A nonprofit lawyer willing to help us further our mission.
Education and Experience
Law and NonProfit law understanding. Understanding of the law and how it applies to the entertainment industry a major plus
