Hubbard House seeks a Facilities and Technology Coordinator to coordinate the daily operations and security of all Hubbard House properties, facilities, and technology systems. Develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of facility, personnel and processes. Plan for and execute facility audits, routine maintenance and improvement projects for facility, equipment, and technology. Responsible for working with maintenance personnel to ensure duties are completed safely, effectively and within standard. Respond to emergency calls and oversee time-critical repairs. Build and maintain quality relationships with key customer stakeholders, internal team members, and external partner service providers.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in facility, technology, project coordination, and/or equivalent. The position requires high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization and detail.

Hubbard House was founded as the first domestic violence shelter in Florida and is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Northeast Florida. Hubbard House has nearly 50 years of experience serving victims of domestic violence through residential and outreach programs. Annually, Hubbard House serves approximately 5,000 women, children and men.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least three years in facility, technology, project management, and/or equivalent. The position requires high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization and detail. Must be able to read, write and speak English; bi-lingual capabilities a plus. If a driver’s license is required for this position, the following conditions apply: A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required. Vehicle insurance must be maintained. Must meet eligibility requirements for Hubbard House, Inc. vehicle insurance coverage. Due to the serious nature of the Hubbard House mission, must successfully clear background screening: 1) a level-2 background screening which includes a criminal background check through the Department of Family and Children (DCF), Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and the National Sex Offender Registry (at a minimum); 2) a motor vehicle report (MVR) is also run against the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV); and 3) a drug, alcohol, and TB screening. Must be able to produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify).
