Description

FreshMinistries is expanding its Adult Outpatient Treatment & Recovery services at the Weaver Community Center and is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Outpatient Clinician to join our team. This is an opportunity to provide high-quality, trauma-informed counseling to adults and emerging adults who are often navigating complex life circumstances, including justice involvement, housing instability, substance use, and co-occurring mental health needs.

As an Outpatient Clinician, you will carry a manageable caseload, provide individual and group counseling, and work within a collaborative, strengths-based, recovery-oriented system of care. You’ll be supported by a small, close-knit team that values flexibility, professional growth, and whole-person care—without the pressure of Medicaid billing or high-volume quotas.

If you are passionate about equity, believe in the resilience of individuals and communities, and want your work to directly contribute to neighborhood revitalization and long-term stability for families, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Provide individual and group outpatient counseling using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required tools (ASAM, FARS/CFARS, Columbia Protocol) within designated timelines. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in InSync (EHR) and support all reporting requirements under OSPG Treatment. Facilitate recovery-focused groups supporting harm reduction, stability, employment, and overall wellness. Coordinate care with community partners, sober-living residences, and justice-system stakeholders as appropriate. Participate in clinical meetings, required trainings, and ongoing program performance reviews. Uphold participant rights, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times. Provide bilingual support if applicable (Spanish/English preferred). Perform related duties as assigned to support outpatient program success.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field (required). Current Florida licensure or registration as an intern (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, RCSWI, RMHCI, RMFTI). Experience providing outpatient, substance use, or co-occurring treatment to adults (preferred). Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and evidence-based interventions. Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing justice involvement, housing instability, or recovery-related challenges. Familiarity with ASAM criteria, FARS/CFARS, and the Columbia Protocol (or willingness to learn). Competence with EHR systems; InSync experience a plus. Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred. Commitment to trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and a recovery-oriented system of care. Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (required). Florida licensure or registered intern status. Prior experience in outpatient, substance use, or co-occurring counseling preferred. Experience working with diverse adult populations; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
