Description
The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing human capital initiatives, supporting employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic HR functions, including talent acquisition, workforce management, and organizational development, in a fast-paced environment. The Human Resources Generalist will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and driving HR projects that align with company goals.
Essential duties and responsibilities
1. Oversee talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates through Indeed 2. Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires. Process E-Verify. 3. Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits administration tasks using Benefits Navigator. 4. Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to resolve disputes effectively. 5. Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation regulations. 6. Support performance management initiatives through employee evaluation processes and training & development programs. 7. Assist in organizational design, change management efforts, and strategic planning initiatives. 8. Maintain accurate HR data entry and data collection records in SPLI ezWeb and WebClock. 9. Conduct exit interviews and support succession planning activities to promote workforce stability. 10. Manage HR sourcing efforts to attract top talent via social media management and other channels. 11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities: 1. Proven experience in human resources management or related roles with a strong understanding of human capital management principles. 2. Familiarity with various HRIS platforms is highly preferred. 3. Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, and contract management. 4. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 5. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 6. Experience with project management tools and techniques is advantageous. 7. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree 2. SHRM Certification preferred 3. A minimum of 3 years HR Experience 4. A minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience via Indeed required. 5. Non-Profit Social Service Industry Experience Preferred 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required. 7. Must affirm the Statement of Faith and Position Statements 8. Must agree to abide by the Code of Ethics
Salary/Salary Range
$26-$31 per hour / 30-40 hour week
