The Nonprofit Center invites you to join us at our 7th Nonprofit Works conference taking place at the Florida Blue Conference Center in Jacksonville, Florida on October 16, 2025. The theme this year is Charting the Course: Bold Leadership for a New Era!
Our keynote speakers include Diane Yentel, President & CEO of the National Council of Nonprofits and Lara Jakubowski, Parnter at LaPiana Consulting. Our morning keynote with Diane will focus on the theme of advocacy and Bridging the Sector with discussion and resources centering around the ongoing federal, state, and local impacts to the nonprofit sector. Diane will be joined by Sabeen Perwaiz of the Florida Nonprofit Alliance and the Nonprofit Center’s CEO, Dawn Lockhart, for a panel discussion following her remarks.
Our luncheon keynote from Lara Jakubowski will focus on the theme of shared services and provide insights into her work with groups like the Better Together Fund. Following the keynote, Lara will host a breakout session designed for Board Chair & Nonprofit CEO pairs to dive deeper on the topic of strategic partnerships.
The day culminates with the relaunch of the Catalyst Northeast Florida dashboard, which follows a year-long Catalyst Connect convening series that brought together 400 community members to refine data dashboards on six community indicators. The relaunch will celebrate the work accomplished thus far and act as a call to continue the momentum, bringing more organizations into the fold as subject matter experts that are able to solve social problems as collaborative teams.
This event is designed to be a high quality and low-cost professional development opportunity for nonprofit staff, board, and key volunteers. In addition to the keynote remarks and Catalyst relaunch, the conference will feature dynamic breakout sessions and activities to engage and inspire attendees.
