Communications Convening

Join us for the Communications Convening! This is designed for all employees of Nonprofit Center member organizations with strategy, marketing, and communications responsibilities.

In September we hope to see you for a special in person convening at The Jessie! Our guest speaker for September will be Jacob Board, Communications Manager for the City of Jacksonville Beach. Jacob will share about a video series he created, “Take 2 Tuesdays,” designed to help the City better connect with their community members. Earlier this year, the series won the Outstanding Award for Best Social Media Campaign from the Florida Municipal Communicators Association annual conference. In Jacob’s own words: “Meaningful public communication isn’t just about pushing out content—it’s about building trust, staying human, and meeting people where they are.”
