Family Promise’s Cardboard City gives you a way to keep a family experiencing homelessness together and safe.
📦 🏠 Build your cardboard structure for the evening. You can sleep in what you build. If you plan to sleep in a tent or car, we ask that you add a cardboard structure to your sleeping arrangements. We will have large flat pieces of cardboard and a limited amount of tape. Bring decorations, markers, paint, tape, signage, props or anything else to create your structure.
📦 🏠 Tackle The Social Service Maze! This is an interactive experience! You will have “your family “scenario for navigating stations to get the resources your “family” needs to move out of homelessness.
📦 🏠 Be our guest for a simple dinner. Donated by Lakewood church, this will be served food line style.
