More and more, nonprofit staff and board members are invited — sometimes expected! — to become advocates for their organization. Building Powerful Advocacy helps participants understand why advocacy is a critical piece of nonprofit work and how nonprofit staff and boards can become stronger advocates for their organization’s mission. Participants will deepen their understanding of the legal parameters for nonprofit advocacy and strengthen their ability to develop and implement their own advocacy platform.

This training is open at no cost to any organization serving children, youth, and families. Thank you to the Kids Hope Alliance for sponsoring this event.

Issis Alvarez, Program Director of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, will lead this informative session.
