New Member Orientation

Would you like to learn more about your Nonprofit Center membership and how to make the most of it? Register you and your team to attend our New Member Orientation!

At the orientation, we will discuss:

• The Nonprofit Center and the local sector
• Membership benefits
• How to access the Member Portal
• Managing your account information
• Using online resources and posting a job/board opening/event
• Registering for upcoming events and programs

You will also have some time to network among colleagues. All new members and affiliates (staff, board members, and key volunteers) are welcome!

Join Rebecca Milligan, Membership Director for the Nonprofit Center for this session and take away practical tools and tips for navigating your membership benefits and resources. 

Rebecca maintains nonprofit, partner, and foundation memberships and helps facilitate programming. Rebecca grew up in Missouri and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Truman State University, where she studied Romance Languages, Linguistics, and Psychology. During her time at Truman, Rebecca was a member of the national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega, and became an active volunteer at nonprofits in her community; currently volunteers at Planned Parenthood, Paper Airplanes, and Women’s March Jacksonville. Rebecca started her professional nonprofit journey in 2018 when she began working for the Community Action Partnership of Northeast Missouri, where she created and implemented programs to assist and empower individuals, families, and communities to achieve their greatest potential. Rebecca joined the Jacksonville community in February of 2021 and has worked with the Jacksonville Humane Society and Project Access, Inc. before coming to the Nonprofit Center in February of 2022.
