Join us for a workshop designed to help your nonprofit grow its online identity and reach millions of potential donors through Candid’s GuideStar platform. In this session, you’ll discover how to update your nonprofit’s Candid profile to effectively tell your organization’s story and earn Seals of Transparency. These seals will allow you to showcase your work, impact, and commitment to transparency. Additionally, we will cover how to collect demographic data for your organization.
Don’t have a Gold or Platinum Seal of Transparency yet? Learn about how to unlock the benefits of a Gold Seal, including a 12-month free membership to Foundation Directory Essentials for any nonprofit that receives their Gold Seal of Transparency and has a budget under $1M.

Introducing our speakers:
CESAR DEL VALLE
Cesar, Director of Partnerships at Candid, brings nearly two decades of entrepreneurial, startup and development experience to Candid. He sees himself as a global citizen, having lived or worked in eight countries spanning five continents. Cesar most recently served as the Senior Director of Partnerships & Community Engagement at Catchafire. Under his direction, Catchafire experienced notable growth on the global stage. He is proud to have established a national program in Australia and a novel program in the Caribbean in close partnership with the Clinton Foundation. Prior to that, Cesar was Director of Growth & Development for the Hult Prize Foundation, where he developed launch strategies for 5 key National Program markets (Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Pakistan) and managed teams for three established markets (Mexico, Colombia, India). Cesar has also held the role of Director of Business Development & Strategy for Goldemar Solutions in Spain and ventured into running his own social enterprise tackling food insecurity in urban slums in Mumbai and in Accra. He holds a B.S. in Statistics from the University of California-Berkeley and received an M.B.A. from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. On a personal note, Cesar has an insatiable curiosity for cultures and people. He loves exploring new places and considers himself an adventurer at heart.
TRACY KAUFMAN
Tracy is an Educational Programming Manager at Candid, leading workshops related to nonprofit sustainability, management, fundraising, and other essential issues relevant to philanthropy and the social sector. Her trainings primarily serve nonprofit professionals, but also audiences comprised of funders, artists, students, and academics. As one of Candid’s training experts, webinar instructors, and a frequent public speaker, she has spoken at numerous conferences, including at the United Nations, and has represented Candid on numerous panel discussions. In addition, Tracy provides training and support to Candid Community partners – libraries, nonprofit resource centers and other institutions – and provides philanthropy and fundraising information services to individuals and local organizations. Her relationship with Candid began in 2007, when she began working as a librarian for Foundation Center, one of Candid’s two legacy organizations. Previously, Tracy held positions with the Association of American Publishers and New York Public Library. Tracy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Writing Seminars from Johns Hopkins University, and studied Library and Information Science at the Pratt Institute.
