Mission: The mission of The Friends of The Quilt is to independently support the National AIDS Memorial – AIDS Memorial Quilt and solemnly honor and remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses. In doing so we aim to make displays of The AIDS Memorial Quilt more accessible and affordable to underserved populations, minority organizations and underfunded groups. Simultaneously, we are committed to raising awareness about the profound impact of the AIDS epidemic and providing unwavering support to those affected by HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Memorial Quilt serves as a poignant memorial and an educational beacon, vividly reminding us of the individuals touched by this disease. Through advocacy, it calls for compassion, understanding, and decisive action to bring an end to this epidemic.
