Rethreaded is seeking a highly motivated, creative, organized, and tech savvy Marketing Associate. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing materials at Rethreaded which can include but not limited to blogs, emails, graphic design, website maintenance, digital marketing, and any other branding materials. Rethreaded is looking to move from a local to a regional presence over the next few years and is seeking an individual who can help grow our voice and create authentic, captivating content.
At Rethreaded, a survivor of human trafficking can choose one of the career paths offered at Rethreaded. This position will have a chance to truly see lives be changed by creating a marketing associate path for survivors of human trafficking and by helping Rethreaded grow and impact more women. Rethreaded needs a marketing associate with a strong marketing background, who deeply believes in and will help further carry out the mission of Rethreaded.
Rethreaded is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and social enterprise based in Jacksonville, FL dedicated to restoring choice, eliminating vulnerabilities to exploitation, and breaking the cycle of generational trauma for survivors of human trafficking. Rethreaded designs, manufactures, and sells its own brand of high-quality consumer products as well as the products of like-minded companies.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Represent the Rethreaded brand in all marketing materials. - Create content that supports Rethreaded’s five marketing pillars. - Analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement. - Additional duties as required. - Work with Marketing Manager to create marketing best practices and document processes to help create marketing department career development training program.

About You: - You can stay true to the brand tone of Rethreaded throughout a variety of different platforms. - You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - You thrive on making the voice of Rethreaded come alive in all marketing materials. - You are passionate about authentic storytelling and connecting with people. - You can work autonomously but you enjoy working as a part of a team that spans all aspects of the business. - You can create marketing messages that move people to take action. - You have a passion for seeing women empowered. - You are willing to continue to learn new skills outside of your day-to-day responsibilities to help support the entire marketing department. Physical Requirements: - Able to read, hand-write and type in English - Able to hear and understand, and clearly speak English in person and/or over the phone - Able to regularly lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs - Able to sit or stand for up to 6 hours at a time - Able to drive and has a driver’s license in good standing
Education and Experience
- You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field or have 2+ years in the field. - You have experience in a variety of marketing settings including emails, blogs, graphic design, website maintenance, content creation, digital marketing, and analytics. - Having experience using photography, videography, and adobe suite to advance the brand is a bonus.
