2023-2024 Nonprofit Center Impact Report
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is an exciting and pivotal time for the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida. As the previous and current Board Chairs, together we embarked on a critically important leadership transition to ensure our growth, relevance, and success well into the future. Additionally, we brought on new staff, new board members and reengaged with our legacy board members.
In our 2023-2024 Impact Report we share some of the moments that have enriched our 22-year history and will help guide us into the future. This year we affirmed the growing public need and demand for our services and the confidence and collaboration of our community partners.
Our recent success is a result of intentional and increased community collaboration. We can accomplish what we do only through the dedication and commitment of our Board of Directors, a strong, diverse and amazing membership of nearly 400 organizations, impactful community partners, and an outstanding team under the leadership of our new Chief Executive Officer, Dawn Lockhart.
We know that our members are our greatest asset. Included in this report are snapshots of the work being done with trusted members to launch a few new programs including Catalyst and Beyond Boundaries. Our work, alongside these visionary organizations, reflects our commitment to aligning the public, private and philanthropic sectors. Our success is theirs as much as ours.
These pages also honor the legacy built by our longtime torchbearers, our former board members. They have been champions of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida for many years, and we are proud to recognize them with the inaugural launch of The Presidents Circle. We are currently working on our new strategic plan that will include new programs to lift the nonprofit sector to achieve greater impact. We promise to remain mindful that honoring our charge requires persistence and progress. As always, we trust the steadfast leadership of our board and nonprofit partners to light the way.
