Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and assist in maintaining our budget. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online, particularly in a nonprofit setting. There is also an opportunity for this role to transition into the Treasurer position for those interested.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring. Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to support financial decision-making. Opportunity to take on Treasurer responsibilities, including overseeing financial planning and fundraising efforts
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a nonprofit organization. Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
