Description
Clay County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day financial management and internal administrative operations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational infrastructure.
The Executive Director retains responsibility for budgeting and financial strategy. This role is responsible for execution, reporting accuracy, and operational oversight.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Financial Management Manage accounts payable and receivable Maintain general ledger and perform monthly reconciliations Process payroll and maintain payroll records Track restricted funds and grant expenditures Prepare monthly financial statements for Executive Director review Assist with audit preparation and Form 990 coordination Track construction draws and loan-related disbursements Maintain internal financial controls Compliance & Administration Monitor grant compliance and reporting deadlines Maintain insurance policies and corporate filings Support HR documentation and onboarding processes Maintain vendor contracts and administrative systems Other duties.
Qualifications
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Nonprofit accounting experience preferred Experience with restricted funds and grant tracking Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Salary/Salary Range
$53,000 to $60,000
