Description
The Counseling Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the provision of individual, group, and family counseling services. This position supervises counselors and student interns and licensed eligible counselors. The position is responsible for collaboration with the department director in adhering to all federal, state, local and university regulations related to supervision of staff and interns.
Essential duties and responsibilities
· Responsible for reviewing all screenings and assigning clients to counselors · Conduct individual, group and family counseling services · Ensures all services are recorded in the database · Prepares and evaluates reports and measures program effectiveness · Recommends treatment programs based upon individual needs · Provides clients with information regarding their rights and options · Responds to emergencies as a member of the Counseling Department · Provides information and referral of community resources to clients · Administers client assessments to evaluate counseling services · Co-lead Counseling meetings and participate in agency meetings · Recruit and provide counseling supervision for interns and counselors · Ensures the counseling department follows established polices, procedures, professional regulations of licensed counselors and continuous quality improvement · Review clinical records to ensure quality and consistency · Responsible for completing staff evaluations · Assume all other duties assigned
Qualifications
Required • MA, M.Ed., MSW, (Psychology/Counseling) • Minimum of five years experience in a therapeutic setting • Must be licensed in the State of Florida • Knowledge of HIPPA and confidentiality • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products and database • Minimum one-year experience supervising staff • Requires expertise in psychological and therapeutic counseling theories, principles, practices and techniques • Excellent interpersonal skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Preferred • Knowledge of Salesforce • Knowledge of telehealth services • Qualified Supervisor preferred

Salary/Salary Range
57,500 - 60,500
