Are you looking for an opportunity to offer hope that transforms families? Hope Haven is seeking a licensed clinician to join our multi-disciplinary team. This clinician will provide a wide range of mental health interventions that allow children, aged 3 to 22, and their families to thrive. Hope Haven’s mission is to ensure that children and families realize their full potential by providing specialized services and individualized educational opportunities. Our services include neuropsychological and psycho-educational evaluations, tutoring, therapy, employment support, an onsite school, after school programming and out of school camps for those with special needs.
The clinician will provide therapeutic and psycho-educational services to children and families and will be responsible for individual, family and group counseling; social skills focused group therapy; supportive coaching in classrooms and daycare centers; and facilitation of the Children First Co-Parenting Class.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Essential Functions: Conduct psycho-social/diagnostic evaluations of children and families Provide individual and group counseling services to children and families Complete treatment planning Provide supportive coaching to internal programs and off site daycares/schools Conduct workshops for schools, agencies, and parents Reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors for children and families Participate in multidisciplinary staffing of clients Coordinate all internal and external referrals for clients for whom employee is the designated case manager Effectively communicate information in written format
Qualifications
Qualifications: Florida licensure as mental health professional (L.C.S.W. or L.M.H.C) Culturally competent and trauma-informed Familiarity with a wide range of childhood behavioral health issues and diagnoses; competence in the area of disabilities preferred Job Type: Full-time Starting pay for licensed clinicians is $55,000. Education: Master's (Required) License/Certification: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Preferred) LMHC (Preferred)
