Catholic Charities Bureau, Inc., Jacksonville Regional Office is seeking a Senior Director of Community and Social Services program. This is a full-time, 40 hour a week, exempt position located in Jacksonville, FL. The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 annually.

Job Summary
Directly oversees the delivery of our community and social services programs, which include, Camp I Am Special, Food Programs, and Social Services in accordance with the organization’s goals and objectives. Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and supervising multiple programs and staff. Ensure programs are aligned with the mission of the organization, monitor and comply with grant criteria, and adhere to the Council on Accreditation standards.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Social Services (50%) - Ensure services are - Monitor documentation flows for necessary revisions to support streamlining caseworker efforts to capture and enter data, monitor draw downs and all other related program expectations. - Supervision of eight case managers. Ensure staff adhere to program outcomes and requirements set for by the Agency and funding sources. - Oversight and participation in the quarterly client record review process. Camp I Am Special (25%) - Ensure the effective provision and delivery of Camp I Am Special (CIAS) services through program planning, compliance with regulatory standards, and best practice standards. - Develop and maintain program policies and procedures that meet agency and accreditation standards. Effectively communicate these policies and procedures to all staff and volunteers. - Develop and execute a training plan for all staff, including support staff, medical staff, kitchen coordinators, buddies, leaders, and volunteers. - Establish and maintain a relationship with Marywood Retreat Center to assure space for camps and related programs to function. - During camp sessions, you may need to be on call and work a flexible work schedule to provide support to staff and campers. - Supervision of the CAIS Program Manager. Food Programs (10%) - Ensure the effective provision and delivery of the CCB Food Pantry and Outreach services through program planning, compliance with regulatory standards, and best practice standards - Supervision of the Food Pantry Program Manager. Administrative Duties (15%) - Ensure cost effective service delivery, prepare and reconcile budgets for assigned programs; respond to budget variances as needed. - Ensure that all program maintain accreditation with the American Camp Association and Council on Accreditation. - Supervise and mentor program staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.· - Manage administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards. - Oversee program budgeting processes to ensure financial resources are utilized in accordance to program standards. - Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including families, community partners, and funding agencies. - Track, manage, and report quarterly Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) data - Prepares program monthly reports and ensure statistical data is accurate and provided on a timely basis. - Enforce established agency policies and procedures. - Other duties as assigned. Other Duties and Functions: - Carries out responsibilities in a manner that supports a collaborative culture. - Maintain confidentiality of all agency records, apply discretion and appropriate security measures in the handling of all confidential information. - Adhere to agency standard of ethical conduct and maintain professional boundaries with staff and clients. - Respect confidentiality within the Agency, at home, in public, in meetings and in consultations with co-workers and outside providers. - Sensitivity to the served population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. - Attend all Agency meetings as required. - Participate in in-service activities, training, continuing education, conferences and workshops for professional development and compliance with grant and Agency policies. - Keep detailed and correct records. - Comply with regulatory, statutory, contractual, grant and Agency standards for timeliness, completeness and accuracy when preparing and maintaining paperwork and required reports. - Comply with Diocesan and Catholic Charities Bureau, Inc. general policies, regulations, and procedures. - Maintain a positive and respectful attitude. - Communicate regularly with supervisors about Department and Agency issues.

Qualifications

- Clear a Level II background screening. - Clear a local background check from the county in which you reside. - Clear a professional reference check. - Clear an annual Motor Vehicles Records check and have a reliable car. - Provide proof of and maintain a minimum personal auto insurance according to agency standards. - Provide a copy of all certifications prior to your first day of employment. - Clear an E-Verify check. - Valid Florida state driver’s license.

Education and Experience

- Required/Preferred Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in social science, human services, public administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred. - A minimum of 8 years non-profit program delivery. - A minimum of 4 years of supervisory non-profit management. - Experience with non-profit grant program management.
