JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida Board of Directors held its annual meeting recently and elected new leadership, welcomed new members, and celebrated two long-serving Board Member’s departure. To read the full bios for the Board of Directors visit here.
New Leadership:
The Nonprofit Center is proud to announce the officers of the Board for 2022-2023. They are:
- Lisa V. Johnson, Chief Technology Officer, IBM Financial Sector, elected Chair of the Board for a two-year term.
- Sam Inman,Chief Financial Officer, Community First Credit Union, elected Vice Chair of the Board for a two-year term.
- Heather Fincher, Business Development Officer for Wells Fargo, elected Secretary of the Board.
- Tyler Morris Executive Director, Center for Independent Living, elected Treasurer of the Board.
- Timothy Conner,Partner, Holland and Knight, Immediate Past Chair of the Board.
New Board Members:
The Nonprofit Center Board is happy to welcome new Board members committed to the organization’s mission to Connect, Strengthen and Advocate for the local nonprofit community. They are:
Tammi McGriff is a Sr. Customer Solutions Manager with CSX Corporation. As a Jacksonville, Florida native, she is a dedicated volunteer within the Jacksonville community. Volunteering with 904WARD and serving as the United Way’s Women United Executive Committee Chair from 2018-2020. She often participates in CSX Pride in Service events to support local military families in Jacksonville, and with Pace Center for Girls Jacksonville.
Paul Stallings serves as Florida Blue’s Vice President of IT Infrastructure Services. He has more than 25 years of experience in information technology. Paul has served on the board of Leadership Jacksonville and served as Chairman of the Board for Beaver Street Enterprises.
Robert Jackson is the Director of Engineering Transportation at The Haskell Company. With over 20 years of experience in transportation-related design, Robert has served in numerous leadership positions in engineering organizations. He volunteers with numerous collegiate engineering programs, including the University of Florida and the University of North Florida and with youth programs such as Mentoring Families and Kids, Inc. He is an active board member of ACE Mentoring Program. He was the president of both the Florida Section American Society of Civil Engineers(2018-2019) and Northeast Florida Engineering Society (2016-2017) and the Chair for Northeast Florida Engineer’s Week in 2011-2012.
Board Departures:
Having completed a combined 13 years of service to the Nonprofit Center, the Board expressed its gratitude to departing Board members Velma Montiero-Tribble, Senior Director, Foundation Community Investments, Florida Blue Foundation and Michael Freed, Shareholder, Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A.
