Community Event – See the Girl Summit

The Delores Barr Weaver Policy Center is thrilled to share that our signature training, the See the Girl Summit, will take place October 26-27, 2023. This 2-day conference brings more than 100 girl*-serving professionals together to connect them with cutting-edge research, powerful field experts, and offers tangible insights into how girls can be served in a more trauma-informed and gender-responsive way. Summit participants include professionals in the education, legal, social services, mental health, medical, and law enforcement fields – all who have the potential to play a key role in changing a girl’s life trajectory. Join us as we identify the ways in which we can embrace our personal and collective strength and resilience while working to prevent the initial or deeper involvement of girls in the justice system.
