Why Updating Your Profile Matters

At the Nonprofit Center, we are constantly trying to meet the needs of our members! Your profile information plays a crucial role in helping us understand your interests and needs. Keeping your profile up to date ensures that we can provide high-impact member benefits.

We have added some new sections to the profile information so, in addition to making sure your contact information is accurate, you can now let us know your professional development interest areas and add your demographic information as well.

Your demographic information is more than just data—it’s the key to ensuring that our organization continues to evolve and meet the needs of our diverse community in Northeast Florida. In addition, selecting your professional development interest area(s) helps us ensure you receive important emails about programs and resources relevant to those topics. By learning more about our members, we will be able to serve you better!

How to Update Your Profile Information

Updating your profile is quick and easy and can be done at any time. Simply follow these steps here.

  1. Log into your individual account on our member portal here. If you have never logged in before, you can create your username and password here.
  2. On the main dashboard, underneath where it shows your name and contact information, there is a purple button that says “Edit Profile” – click there!
  3. The first page will collect name, company name, job title, contact information, and professional interest areas. Hit “Next” to update your demographic information.
  4. Once the information is as you want it, just hit “submit” and you are done!

The above instructions are specific to updating the profile information of your individual account. If you are signed into an organization’s account, you can edit that profile also, but the information collected is different. There you can make sure contact information is up to date and also make sure that you have a website listed and a logo added to show up in our Member Directory. Please note that none of your individual profile information will ever be shared publicly. It will only be used to help the Nonprofit Center team determine how to best support the local nonprofit sector.
