In this role, the Social Media and Content Manager’s main focus will be to plan, develop strategies, post, and study trends related to paid and organic social media. This role is responsible for tracking whether or not social marketing efforts have been successful.

Essential duties and responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES • Create and distribute compelling social media content that build awareness about the theatre and its events while also increasing engagement, ticket sales, and donations. • Develops all paid and organic content distribution. • Use pre-prepared content supplied by artists and artist management, as well as create original content. • Work collaboratively with all departments at the theatre. • Plan & develop a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram (to include Stories), LinkedIn, and other/future social platforms). • Contribute to and regularly update the theatre’s own social sites. • Ensure all social media efforts and messaging are consistent with the values, overall story, and voice for the target audience. • Community engagement with followers by responding to comments, messages, and replies across various social media platforms. • Measure, analyze, and create campaign performance reports. • Stay aware of evolving social media technologies, trends, and design tools. • Research and explore social influencer partnerships to enhance brand visibility. • Photography and videography at events on nights and weekends when necessary.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or equivalent degree/experience. • Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn ad platforms. • Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding attention to detail. DETAILS • Benefits: 100% health, dental and life insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. • Schedule: Average 40 hours per week, nights and weekends when necessary • Reports to: Director of Marketing

45,000
