Essential duties and responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote our mission and initiatives. • Create, curate, and maintain engaging content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others. • Write, edit, and distribute high-quality content, including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and reports. • Collaborate with print and broadcast media professionals to ensure accurate and effective coverage of our work. • Manage and grow our social media presence, driving engagement and expanding our reach. • Develop creative campaigns to raise awareness and support for our programs. • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes. • Stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing and social media.
Qualifications
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team. • Creative thinker with a passion for making a difference. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. • Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
