Description
The Summer Camp Instructor is responsible for supervising school-age youth and providing mentoring, enrichment activities, leadership, life skill training. In addition, this person will assist the staff in other areas of need or otherwise determined by the Program Manager.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Genuine desire to Inspire, Impact and Mentor youth on daily basis Ability to Connect, Direct and Lead students with participating in daily activities Ability to Manage multiple student behaviors (classroom management style) Ability to Communicate and Redirect in a positive manner Creative, Innovative, Engaging and Motivating personality Dependability, Reliability, Teamwork and Willingness to assist where necessary
Qualifications
Ability to pass a Level II background screening Ability to pass a drug test
Education and Experience
High School Diploma Experience working with youth in a classroom environment
Salary/Salary Range
$15.00 Hourly
