The Nonprofit Center proudly named the Learning Lab after Lawrence DuBow, known by his friends as Laurie. Laurie is a  local business leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist who started the DuBow Family Foundation in 1988; since then his and his family's generosity has advanced causes that support children, women, education, religious charities, and more. Laurie's longstanding commitment to strong nonprofit organizations led him to become a founding supporter and Board member of the Nonprofit Center.  His entrepreneurial spirit has helped us explore new ways of delivering on the Nonprofit Center mission -- including creating an online learning option to break down barriers to access resources.  We are proud to have Laurie as our friend, and the namesake of our Lawrence DuBow Online Learning Lab!
