Summary
The role of the Tenant Service Coordinator is to provide comprehensive assistance to individuals and families exiting homelessness at scattered site apartments. The position is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate and effective services to tenants, ensuring they receive the necessary support to maintain stable housing and achieve greater self-sufficiency.

Resident, Guest and Internal Customer Focus
The Tenant Service Coordinator is sensitive to emotional, spiritual and practical needs of residents, families, guests and staff members in all interactions. The TSC provides positive feedback and comments about the quality of work and effort that have been offered by residents, families and coworkers. Adjusts priorities and schedules to meet specific customer needs. Reports and/or corrects problems related to safety, cleanliness and comfort of resident and work areas. Universal Precautions and Infection Control techniques are followed. Understands own role facility safety plans and procedures related to fire, weather and other disasters is demonstrated.

Essential duties and responsibilities

1.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the property managers and referral agencies within the homeless response system to assist with timely and efficient tenant placement 2.Conduct initial tenant assessments and develop individualized Housing Stability Plans. Reassess bi-annually with in collaboration with resident 3.Conduct bi-weekly home visits and provide crisis intervention as needed 4.Facilitate access to essential medical, dental, optical and behavioral health resources 5.Provide resources and programs to increase residents financial stability through employment services or SSI/SSDI assistance 6.Plan and organize monthly events, workshops or community activities to promote resident engagement and skill development 7.Identify and access community resources to support residents and staff 8.Attend regular meetings with property management staff and 3rd party service providers 9.Provide continuous feedback on resident issues and concerns to asset management, property management and social service providers to improve service delivery. 10.Maintain all charts and records according to established standards and ensure timely entry into the HMIS system 11. Gather and report on key performance metrics and outcomes related to client progress and program effectiveness. Prepare Qualitative and quantitative reports as needed 12. Handle monthly administrative responsibilities such as creating event calendars, completing reports, submitting attendance reports and updating bulletin boards 13. Explore Medicaid waivers when appropriate to enhance the financial sustainability of the program 14.Participate in departmental and center-wide quality assurance initiatives 15.Participate in staff meetings, in-service training and workshops as deemed appropriate by the Director of Permanent Supportive Housing. 16. All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with clients, colleagues and volunteers • Excellent customer services skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage crisis situations • Personal car and valid Florida driver’s license • Acceptable annual Motor Vehicle Record check • Adhere to required insurance coverage levels (Bodily Injury & Property Damage Liability: $100,000 each person; $100,000 each accident) if driving a personal vehicle for work-related purposes • Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening

Education and Experience

Associate Degree and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a Permanent Supportive Housing program or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year experience working in a Permanent Supportive Housing program.
